Blackburn and District Trades Union Council is a local body of the TUC comprising delegates from Trade Unions with members working or living in the Boroughs of Blackburn with Darwen and the Ribble Valley.

It aims to give Trade Union members a local voice and influence on issues affecting local workplaces and communities and on questions of social and economic policy.
